UK – UFO Sightings [ December 2008] Updated regularly
Posted by dandare on December 7, 2008
i will try and keep this up to date, with all information from the UK.
Please check back from time to time, as this will be updated regularly…If you see something that i have missed, please contact me (thanks).….
There has been an explosion of UK UFO activity, after the MOD released its UFO archive, and this might account for the media clamouring for our attention (how much of it is fact, is frankly anyone’s guess), and also the public looking at the sky more than normal.
Many of the sightings are sensationalised, with usually alot of information missing.
Please keep this in mind as you view these postings from the local and national press.
I’m afraid many also fail to follow up on their initial leads, and many reports just remain forgotten.
Some incidents could be UFO balloons (please see: http://dandare.wordpress.com/2007/05/19/ufo-balloons-what-are-they/ for more details, from a previous article).
Thisiscroydon ” Is this the latest Croydon UFO ? “
” It’s not every day that you take a picture out of your bedroom window and snap a UFO.
But that’s exactly what Carol Ashby believes she did one hazy morning in November.
Ms Ashby told The Advertiser she was sure the disc of light floating above her home in Hazelwood Grove, Sanderstead, had extraterrestrial origins.
She claimed: “I don’t know what else it could be – although I didn’t notice it at the time.” ” (extract from article).

Sunday Mercury ” All UFO sightings are fake – its official “
” Right, so if they are pretty advanced, more advanced than us then why would they light up their crafts like a flipping christmas tree?
They wouldn’t, they would have developed a more stealthy approach, a non-lit, night-vision kind of technology surely?
If they are in our skies they obviously don’t want to be found do they, otherwise they would have landed and had a cup of Rosy Lee with The Queen wouldn’t they?” (extract from article). I would have liked to have posted the whole article, but felt the interlect was just too much for this blogging site…… not.
