There has been an explosion of UK UFO activity this year, mainly due to the Sun (tabloid UK newspaper) who think they are the UFO EXPERTS, seeming to print anything remotely to do with UFOs (with no facts/sensationalism and mostly no TRUTH). Unfortunately, this now seems to be spreading to other National newspapers. This month it seems to be The Telegraph’s turn at Ufology wisdom.

Are they eventually going to make UFOLOGY a complete joke?

So, many of the sightings reported are sensationalized, with usually alot of information missing.

Please keep this in mind as you view these postings from the local and national press.

I’m afraid many also fail to follow up on their initial leads, and many reports just remain forgotten.

Some incidents could be UFO balloons (please see:  http://dandare.wordpress.com/2007/05/19/ufo-balloons-what-are-they/ for more details, from a previous article). There are also many other IFOs ( Identified Flying Objects they could be as well).

However, as i have said before, i am not sure what value they are to any UFO research.

Have a good look around, as there is alot of information (even if you do not understand the language) also for MOD (if you missed it (1926-1957), and other countries are covered. Also photographs too.

The Brazilian Files cover the years 1970 – 1979, but unfortunately i can only translate very small pieces; hope there might be a way around this somehow….

From the same Brazilian website some more news (updated) It says they are examining/processing the files. Entitled ” Another batch of secret Ufology files was released by the National Archives ” (translated by google).

1 The Belgian Triangles

Dates: November 1989 – April 1990 [Belgian Authorities recieved over 2500 reports on Triangular UFOs].

The RBAF (Royal Belgian Air Force) decided to co-operate/work with SOBEPS (Local UFO Research Group= Society Of Belgian Studies of Celestial Phenomena), with SOBEPS reporting from ground level, whilst RBAF would attempt to track and intercept.

They never intercepted them, as the UFOs were far too quick for the F-16s.

Triangular UFOs- what were they? Explanations for this, were that the USAF, may have been testing its stealth aircraft – F117A fighters and B-2 bombers.

However, F-16s can fly faster than stealth aircraft, so why no interceptions, and why were the UFOs more agile.
